Sue Wilkie (b. 1950 UK)
Educated at The University of Lethbridge – received a Bachelor of Arts and later a Professional Certificate in Multimedia Technology
Has participated in numerous group exhibitions with Lethbridge Artists Club at Casa, The Yates Centre, Lethbridge Public Library, The Waterton Natural History Museum, The Nikka Yuko Garden, The Galt Museum, The Helen Schuler Nature Centre, Art Walk and the “Faces of Distinction” portrait project.
Her works are held in private collections in Lethbridge and Western Canada.
Has instructed drawing classes at The Bowman Arts Centre, Casa and Nikka Yuko Garden.
*Played a primary role in the design and installation of several murals both St. Michael’s Health Centre and Edith Cavell Care Centre.
*Illustrated a youth book, “There’s a Rat in the City”.
*In 2018 she co-designed and produced a public art Installation, “An (Un) Still Life with Sports” in the Nicholas Sheran Complex for the Lethbridge Sport Council.
Sue works in drawing, watercolours, acrylics and oils in traditional style, and has recently started carving cottonwood bark. Also excels in graphic design and uses digital software in production of many projects.
